Groundhog Day in the Queen City!

It’s been a chilly winter here in the Queen City! With the snow and the longest streak of below freezing temperatures in years, who’s ready for Spring?!?!  Well Friday we should get a glimpse into the future! The famous Punxsutawney Phil will make his appearance and let us know whether we will have an early spring or 6 more weeks of winter.

But did you know that we have our own groundhog here in Charlotte?!?!  Her name is Queen Charlotte and she resides in the Charlotte Nature Museum. You can see her Friday at their Groundhog Day Event.  There will be crafts, story time and a puppet show starting at 10:30 AM.
